The Shushukai was a group of talented designers in Kyoto in the prewar period whose members included Kawarazaki Kodo, Iida Shiko, and Miyagawa Souhei. Each volume contains 12 drawings, 3 volumes with 36 drawings in total.
The woodblock prints are very fine and exquisite, and are very much in keeping with the style of Unsodo at this time. Overall in good antique condition. There is a mark on the front cover where a piece of paper has been removed.
