I bought this 162 Years old beautiful original Japanese Wood Block Print back in September 2016, in Shibuya (Omotesando) Tokyo Japan in the small shop of Matshushita Associates Inc inside the Oriental Bazaar. "Reproductions" are synonymous with copies. Bio of the famous Woodblock Artist. Was born around 1830 (died in 1919). He had a famous teacher, the ukiyo-e artist. Who at his time was considered the best.

Best or not, Kunisada was quite successful and maintained a huge studio with many young students who may have produced a large number of the designs that were published under Kunisada's name. Most of Kunikazu's output were actor and kabuki theater.
