Shiro Kasamatsu Japanese Woodblock Print Hongo Red Gate in Snow Rare. A beautiful very rare Japanese woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu titled "Hongo Red Gate in Snow". The artist's seal and signature is present in the bottom right corner of the image. In the bottom left corner there is Watanabe's "7mm Seal" indicating a printing timeframe of 1957-89. The print is "oban" sized and measures roughly 10 1/4" x 15 1/4" including the margins.

In excellent condition with deep rich colors. Some very light toning to the paper and a faint matinee just within the image from previous matting. Two area with glue/paper remnants on top reverse margin from previous mounting. Please pour over the photographs and feel free to ask questions. All items are sent from Japan.
